Mikaela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Chatham University and has been a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for more than three years. She began her career in Pittsburgh Public Schools before transitioning to clinic-based services, where she quickly stepped into a leadership role as a therapist advocate. In that role, she gained valuable experience fostering collaboration, supporting staff, and creating positive, motivating work environments.
Today, Mikaela brings that same passion and expertise to RCG’s Culture Committee. She is dedicated to building a strong sense of community and believes that a supportive, uplifting workplace is key to the success of both clients and team members. She’s excited to help plan meaningful, fun events and provide ongoing support to therapists throughout their journey at RCG.
Beyond her work at RCG, Mikaela serves as a program facilitator for the Autism Society of Central Virginia, where she helps individuals and their families enjoy outdoor adventures and educational activities. In her free time, she enjoys hunting for treasures at thrift stores, creatively upcycling her finds, and exploring new restaurants around RVA.
