Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Richmond, VA | Schedule: Full Time | Level: Mid Level
Are you a credentialed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is passionate about delivering high-quality ABA therapy? Do you enjoy helping children build meaningful skills and achieve measurable progress? If so, we invite you to join our team.
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and developmental delays across home, school, community, and center-based settings. ABA therapy uses evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social skills, adaptive behavior, and play while reducing challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement.
RBTs play a central role in helping children make measurable progress. You will implement treatment goals, motivate clients using evidence-based reinforcement systems, and support the development of new and meaningful skills. Ideal candidates remain calm and professional when supporting clients who may exhibit aggression or self-injury, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.
Center-based technicians may assist with client transportation using an RCG vehicle and must maintain a clean driving record.
