John is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed through the Virginia Board of Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Political Science from James Madison University, a Master of Arts in Art History from Williams College, and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University.
John has extensive experience working with individuals with autism and related disabilities, ranging in age from 18 months to 32 years, across home-based and clinical settings. While his entry into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) was unplanned, the profound, positive changes he witnessed in the lives of his clients and their families inspired him to make it his lifelong career.
John is passionate about collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams to enhance his clients’ functional communication, self-management, and social skills. His goal is to empower individuals to achieve greater independence and successfully integrate into their communities.
